Charges/Levy of Penal Interest

A.       Term Loans

i.       In case of default upto 3 installments , penal interest of 1 % shall be charged on actual default amount only over and above the agreed rate of interest.

ii.        In case of default more than 3 installments, penal interest of 2% shall be charged on actual default amount only over and above the agreed rate of  interest.

iii..    In case of Priority Sector loans & advances upto Rs.25000/-(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand)only ,no penal interest shall be charged.

iv.       In case of non fulfillment of all terms & conditions of loan sanction order-1% penal interest shall be charged over and above the agreed rate of interest on the entire outstanding loan amount (Principal + Interest) till such conditions are fulfilled.

B.        Cash Credit

i.        1% Penal Interest shall be charged over and above the agreed rate of interest on the overdrawn amount (irrespective of its sanctioning authority) if such overdrawal continues upto one month and 2% penal interest shall be charged on such overdrawn amount if it continues for more than one month after due date.

ii.        Non submission of stock statements (delay beyond 10days of the succeeding month to be considered as non submission)- 1% penal interest shall be charged over and above the agreed rate of interest on the entire outstanding balance till the date, stock statements are submitted.

iii.      Non submission of Annual financial statements/-beyond three months from the closing of financial year- 1% penal interest shall be charged over and above the agreed rate of interest on the entire outstanding balance till the statements are submitted.

iv.      Non submission of renewal date beyond one month from the due date of renewal 1% penal interest shall be charged over and above the agreed rate of interest on the entire outstanding balance till the statements are submitted.
